  The anointing of the sick, or the sacrament of the sick, formerly know as 'last rites' is no longer considered a sacrament only for those at the point of death.  Instead, this healing sacrament is used for all those who are facing death, a major surgery, chronic illness, and even the weakness that comes simply with age.  There are communal celebrations of the sacrament offered twice a year.
