Sacrament of Reconcilation                                                                                                                                      There are communal reconciliation services with private confessions during Advent and Lent. Sacrament of Eucharist

The doctrine of the Holy Eucharist consist of that of the Eucharist sacrifice, the sacrificial meal, and the sacrificial food, or to express it otherwise, it consists of the doctrine of the Mass, of Communion, and of the Real Presence. There is no presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament that is not meant first and foremost as food for the faithful people, and there is no sacramental union with Christ in Holy Communion that is not to be thought of as a sacrificial meal: 'For as often as you shall eat this bread, and drink the chalice, you shall show the death of the Lord, until he come' (1 Cor. 11:26). The Eucharistic meal can only be prepared in the sacrifice of the Mass.

Preparation classes are offered in the fall for children in second grade.

Sacrament of Confirmation

This is the last of the three Sacraments of Initiation. It is one of the visible signs in this world of God's power, presence, and action. Confirmation is not just a "personal sacrament", rather, it is a confirming upon the candidate buy the Bishop, the Pastor, the Program Director, the Sponsor, and the entire parish community that the candidate is being fully initiated into the Catholic Faith.

Confirmation is not just about learning facts about our faith. It is a period of discipleship. A time of growing in faith, knowledge, devotion, and service. It is a time to discover more fully one's gifts and talents so that they can be later shared fully with the entire parish community and the Church universal.

One important aspect of the sacrament of Confirmation is that it is a choice, made freely, by the candidate. As an infant, the parents and Godparents spoke on behalf of the new member of the family of God. Now, the candidate must speak freely, and decisively.

Preparation classes are offered in the fall for children turning sixteen.

Sacrament of Marriage
Couples seeking marriage in the Church are asked to contact the parish at least four months in advance of their proposed wedding date for a first marriage. For those with prior marriages, additional time may be required. Marriages are celebrated in the parish in which one of the Catholic parties lives.
